Rehobeth Beach

 

Daniel found out the the beach was opened at noon on Sunday after Hurricane Irene. So after Tyler woke up from his nap we left. there were a lot of places we passed without power, and lots and lots of trees that had fallen. Plus there were homes that were flooded along the way. Luckily all the roads had already been cleared of any fallen trees and we made it to the beach Safe. The waves at the beach were bigger than I have ever seen and surfers were having fun. Tyler loved the beach and I have a feeling that when he becomes a teenager he will be found at the beach on the weekends.

Daniel Had the weekend off so we could go to the beach. It just so happened that Hurricane Irene was going to be at the beach the same day. Hurricane Irene was scheduled to arrive at our home around 2:00 AM. So we slept through the storm, but when we woke up this is what we found…

  MomMom gave me a quilt that she has had for a while now. she says it is too heavy for her and DadDad to use and wanted it to go to someone in the family. I Love the Quilt and will cherish it forever. Thanks MomMom.
